The Cam White 2010 Hillside Dirt Jam was held at Cam's place near Canberra, Australia on February 6, 2010. It was another epic event with some of the best dirt riders in the world attending. Dane Searls won "King of the Hill". Cam Pianta took home the "Best Trick". and Josh Stead earned the "Best Style" award. Dew Tour Orlando PlayStation Pro 2009 Dirt Finals:The competition in the BMX Dirt Finals at the PlayStation Pro heated up Saturday night, in spite of temperatures hanging in the low 60's. TJ Ellis came from behind. His first two runs put him in 10th place, but he brought it all to his final run. He did a no handed flip over the hip right into a front flip over the second jump. He polished off the run with a double whip on the third jump and a 360 double whip on the last jump. Cam had a couple good runs to put him in 4th. On his best run he threw a back flip turn down on the first hip to a double whip on the second hit. He finished it off with a back flip tail whip then a front flip on the last jump. PlayStation Pro 2009 BMX Best Trick:The Skeletal Metal / Lavs Lab team threw down hard during the Best Trick Competition at the PlayStation Pro. This was the first time the BMX Best Trick competition was featured on the Dew Tour, and will hopefully not be the last. The crowd lost their minds as they watched 10 hand-picked competitors get crazy on the dirt. Anthony Napolitan, Cory Nastazio, TJ Ellis and others went off the chain throwing huge combo after huge combo. At the end of the day Anthony Napolitan (Skeletal Metal / Lavs Lab rider) brought home the win and a check for $5,000 for throwing a 360 barspin catch barspin to late tail whip. TJ Ellis threw down an unpresidented one footed front flip x-up that sent the crowd over the top. He threw one last trick after the clock ran out; a back flip wind shield wiper (back flip whip, to whip back). It was a first ever trick, but couldn't count it since time was already up. Stephen Murray Bar Benefit:Skeletal Metal was at the Rockhouse Bar Las Vegas. To support this great cause. Stephen Murray is one of the great BMX Dirt riders of our generation. His career was cut short when a crash in 2007 left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. Stephen still works through each day to support his family and to try to recover. Stephen Murray is an inspiration to everyone that works hard to do what they love. He has been a great friend to all that know him and a great supporter of BMX since his accident. Luke Parslow, Cam White, Nate Berkheimer, TJ Ellis, and a ton of other people were there to show their support. Unfortunately Stephen Murray himself was not able to attend due to illness. We send our love and respect to him and his family.

Dew Tour 2009 - Salt Lake City, Toyota Challenge:The Skeletal Metal BMX Team had a good showing at the Salt Lake City stop of the 2009 Dew Tour. Cam White and TJ Ellis went into the finals in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Both TJ and Cam showed up for the finals and threw down awesome runs. Many thought TJ Ellis was going to walk away with the top spot after he threw down a huge Front-Flip Tailwhip, but Ryan Nyquist managed to pull ahead in his combined run scores. The final tally put Ryan Nyquist in 1st, TJ Ellis 2nd, Brandon Dosch 3rd, and Cam White in 4th. Check the Alli Sports website for more info: |
