In Honor of freeskiing legend CR Johnson-

CR Johnson

The skiing world mourns the passing of one of the skiing communities greatest influences. Whether for his skills on skis, or his lust for life and positive outlook, CR Johnson had a huge influence on the world of freeskiing. In 2005 CR Johnson spent a week in a coma after a skiing accident. He had to re-learn how to swallow, write, walk after waking up from the coma paralyzed.

CR Johnson recovered from his injury and came back strong, showing he was a force to be reckoned with. CR passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 after a horrific crash in the "Light Towers" area at Squaw Valley.

Skeletal Metal honors his accomplishments as a skier and as a person. He will be greatly missed.
