Brent Thomson

Brent Thomson is considered the father of Bootleg Canyon. He built nearly all the trails at the epic venue himself with the help of Dan Haskins. He passed in February 2009 and Crash organized the first memorial race for Brent in March 2009.

Dave "Crash" Collins

Dave "Crash" Collins was one of the great promoters who spent much of his time organizing events to highlight the trails that Brent Thomson spent much of his life building.

Crash was good friends with Brent Thomson and assumed the responsibility of promoting Bootleg Canyon after Brent passed. It is ironic that Crash passed away just a year after Thomson.
